Technology Stack​

Before you begin, it helps to be familiar with the core technologies powering Melvec:

  • Framework: Electron (desktop application wrapper)
  • Language: JavaScript(React) / HTML5 / CSS3
  • Database Engine: SQLite (local data storage and indexing)
  • Media Processing: FFmpeg (video decoding and metadata extraction)
